There are two main types of dentures: Conventional Full Dentures and Partial Dentures.

After any necessary extractions, impressions and measurements are taken to create a custom model for the denture. Besides aesthetic reasons, bridges also prevent teeth from shifting into the empty spaces caused by tooth loss. A standard bridge involves placing crowns on the teeth surrounding the gap and attaching a replacement tooth to those crowns, matching the patient’s natural teeth for a seamless smile.

After receiving dentures, patients should follow up with our dentist as recommended for any necessary adjustments. Regular cleaning with a soft-bristle toothbrush and non-abrasive cleanser is essential to prevent plaque buildup. Generally, dentures should be replaced every 5-10 years, and our dentist can evaluate whether your dentures need refitting or replacement.
